Tammy Lynn Ohda

Tammy Lynn Ohda, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully at The Crossing on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the age of 64. She was a childcare provider affectionately known as "Mimi," a resident of Brusly, LA. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Tammy is survived by her children, Tabatha Hebert and fiancé Jamie Martin, Shannon O'Donnell and husband Sean, Harley Burkhalter, and Cameron Tomlinson and fiancé Marijo Angulo; grandchildren, Tanson, Julian, Alexis, Kelly, and Anastasia; parents, Marilyn and Charles Guffey; siblings, Todd Ohda and wife Rendy, Connie Martin and husband Scott, and Clay Ohda and wife Catherine; and nieces and nephews, Christy, Cassie, Matthew, Raven and TJ. Preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Burkhalter; and father, Donald Ohda. Tammy had a love for children and enjoyed providing childcare for them. She loved crocheting and puzzling. Tammy enjoyed nature and nurturing plants. Mimi was loved by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
