Thinking of you, Steve and family. I always enjoyed talking with Tammy at pickleball tournaments. Partnered with her once several years ago and appreciated her supportive and positive attitude. Very sorry for your loss.

It is with great sadness that I send my deepest sympathies to Steve, Janey and your entire family. I will always remember being greeted by Tammy´s smiling face each morning as she opened the front doors of Hy-Vee. Initially, I assumed that she worked in the kitchen because she was always wearing an apron and a hat. Shortly thereafter, I learned she was the Night Stock Manager and we began to interact when she needed research done on specific items. One morning, while working on something up in the office, she happened to be on the phone with her daughter. It was then that I first learned of Janey. From that day on, I would always try to give a big "hello Janey," from across the room as they chatted thru Tammy´s ear buds. This was something Tammy did daily and I very much admired how close they were. One morning, Tammy asked if I would like to go to lunch sometime. I said yes and two days later we met downtown for lunch. Who knew that would be the start of our friendship, the first time I ever got a car towed and the beginning of road trips to watch Janey perform! These are memories I will always treasure for a friendship that was just getting started. Who would have ever thought our time together would be so short. I will miss you forever my dear, sweet Tammy. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend.
