Taneesha Sue Stuckey, 36, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. Rita's Mercy Medical Center in Lima, Ohio from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Coldwater, Michigan on July 26, 1989 to Ralph and Tammy (Bailey) Stuckey. Taneesha was a graduate of Pioneer High School. She was a faithful member of XPerience Church and Defiance Eagles #372. Taneesha has always loved children and volunteered as a driver for the annual Christmas Cops With Kids. She was a true fixer upper, enjoyed doing crafts, and always loved her daughters above all. Taneesha gave the gift of life as an organ donor with Lifeline of Ohio. She will be sadly missed by her family and good friends.
Taneesha is survived by her loving mother, Tammy (Andy Doan) Tritsch of Defiance, her daughters, Avyonna J. Hamrick and Brayleigh M. Stuckey, both of Swanton, OH, sisters Jessica (Branden) Bird of Indiana and Samantha J. Stuckey of Montpelier, OH, her brother, Zakary Gibson of Tennessee, and grandparents Wanda Bailey, Elmer Stuckey and Pearl Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Stuckey, her brother Joshua Stuckey, and grandparents, Earl Bailey, Yvonne Stuckey and Gary Cooper.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier, Ohio. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
