Tanner Jacob Merrill was born February 28th, 2004 in Glendale, Arizona to Ryan Christopher Merrill and Melissa Lee Merrill. He passed away March 10th, 2024.
Tanner grew up in Buckeye, Arizona where he attended high school at Buckeye Union High School. He loved playing football with his friends, learning how to dance, fishing with his family, and weight training. He shared his love for music with all that would listen. He completed Navy bootcamp in Great Lakes, Illinois August 18th, 2023 and went straight to Coronado, California to become a Navy SEAL.
Tanner was preceded in death by his Papa Sid and Aunt Johna.
He is survived by his father Ryan, mother Melissa, older sister Makenzie, younger sister Lexi, younger brother Dallin, grandma Jerril, grandma Cari, grandpa Rex, along with many extended family.
Tanner will be missed and all memories with him cherished forever. We love you Tanner.
Funeral services will be held March 22nd, 2024 at 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 25800 W Southern Ave. Buckeye, AZ 85326. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Gila Bend, AZ.
