Obituary

Tanner Ivan Wolfe

September 21, 2004- September 14, 2025

Beloved son, grandson, great-grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Tanner Ivan Wolfe, left this earthly life due to a tragic car accident and joined his best friend, Jesus Christ, in heaven on September 14, 2025, a mere week before his 21st birthday.

Tanner was born on September 21, 2004 in Cody, Wyoming to Holly Noel (Axtell) Rasmussen and Ronnie Lee Wolfe. He was welcomed home by big brother, Tucker with whom he enjoyed many hours of great adventures. He attended Worland Preschool where he was lovingly taught by Donna Harrington and Cathy Shelledy. Tanner was lucky enough to have a bonus family with five more siblings from his dad's side: Josh, Psalm, Gavin, Armani and Eliana. He loved everyone and was grateful to have such a large family.

The family moved to La Grande, Oregon where Tanner discovered a love for sports. He played on football and basketball teams from the time he was in elementary school. Tanner was the biggest fan of the Denver Broncos and could always be found cheering them on. After obtaining his GED, Tanner moved to Worland to be closer to his mom. A true mama's boy at heart, he found joy in doing anything he could to make her smile. That same love extended to his baby sister, Piper, with whom he shared a special bond. Tanner cherished their time together, whether swimming at the pool, camping in the mountains, or simply being by her side, they have a bond that will live on forever.

As a valued employee of Walmart, Safeway, M&T Underground, and most recently the local Arby's, Tanner was always willing to give his very best to whatever task he was asked to do. He would literally go the extra mile to help his employer and coworkers, traveling to other towns, constantly willing to be where he was needed without complaint.

Tanner was a kind, accepting, non-judgmental young man. He had a great smile, a gentle soul, and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He always looked for the good in every person he met. He left lasting imprints on the hearts of all who knew him. He is truly unforgettable.

Tanner loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was saved in 2024, joining the Body of Christ. He lived his Christian faith with his whole heart and soul. We know he is enjoying being in the arms of his Savior and in the company of his family members and friends who welcomed him Home.

Tanner was preceded in death by a baby cousin, Izik Axtell, and by his great-grandfather, Royce Harvey.

Surviving relatives include his mother, Holly Rasmussen of Worland, Wyoming and father, Ronnie Lee Wolfe of Powell, Wyoming ; brothers, Tucker Ehrmantraut of LaGrande, Oregon, Josh Wolfe (Natalie) of Powell, Wyoming; Psalm Wolfe (Jake) of Washington, Gavin and Armani; sisters, Piper and Eliana; maternal grandparents, David and Linda Axtell of Worland Wyoming; paternal grandmother Lachelle Wolfe of Powell; maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Harvey of Worland, Wyoming; paternal great-grandparents, Ivan and Lois Wolfe of Powell, Wyoming; Aunts, Heidi (Nathan) Hester of Oklahoma, Hillary (Nick) Wall of Worland, Kyann (Lee) Harris of Texas and Vashti Vanniasingham of Texas and many other family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
