Tanya Johnson Obituary
Tanya R. Johnson, 59, of Dover, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Country Club Retirement Community.
Born on August 29, 1966, in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Randy and June Lashley Lawrence. Tanya was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Shook, and a brother.
A dedicated homemaker, Tanya enjoyed caring for her family. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, loved being outdoors, and found happiness in baking for those she loved.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Paul Johnson; her children, Nathan Matthews of Georgia, Nick Matthews of Michigan, Brandy Johnson of Dover, and Brandon Johnson of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Autumn and Athena Shook; and three brothers and a sister.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover. There will be no services or calling hours.
