Dansville- Tara J. Schramm age 49, passed away at home late Monday afternoon November 14, 2022, after being recently diagnosed with metastatic melanoma.
She was born in Wellsville on February 1, 1973, a daughter of Richard and Jill (Richmond) Burton. She was predeceased by her mother Jill in 2002 and her father in-law Marty Schramm in 1996 and a nephew Allyn in 2008. On September 20, 1997, she was married to Robert "Rob" Schramm, who survives.
Tara will be remembered as a graceful woman who was dedicated to caring for her husband and children. Tara was formerly employed at Noyes Memorial Hospital for the First Step Program, a clerk typist for the Livingston County CFNR and recently the Livingston County Dept. of Social Services as a case management aid.
Surviving in addition to her husband Rob, are daughter Jillian Schramm at home, son Holden Schramm of Ossian, her father Richard Burton, sister Tracey (John) Burton-Ruffin and brother Todd (Stephanie) Burton all of VA. Her mother in-law Frances (Lynn) Button, sister in-laws Heidi (Mike) Doser and Crystal (Brian) Sarvis, nieces Ashley and Amanda Burton, nephews Dana Bugman, Evan Sarvis, Tyler and Joshua Yetter and many cousins and friends.
Friends may call Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at the Dansville Presbyterian Church 3 School St. Arrangements by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, NY 14437.
