Tarek Mhich

In Loving Memory of Tarek Mhich 8/5/1994 - 10/10/2023 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Tarek Mhich, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Tarek was called to rest on October 10th, 2023, at the tender age of 29.
Born in Ridgewood and raised in Paramus, Tarek was a devoted and caring son who brought immeasurable pride and joy to his parents, Bassam, and Karen. As the younger of two boys, Tarek shared an unbreakable bond with his older brother, Rafik, and the adventures they shared together will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to witness the connection that only the closest of brothers can share.
Along with his immediate family, Tarek is survived by his three loving grandparents, four devoted aunts and uncles, and seven cousins. Tarek was a kind and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone he met with his warm hugs and smiling eyes. Although his time with us was tragically brief, we know he is looking down on us fondly and wants us to remember the love, laughter, and joy he brought into our lives.
Rest in peace, our gentle giant. You will be deeply missed until we meet again. Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
Interment will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, followed by a repass at 1:00 pm at Biagio's Ristorante 299 Paramus Rd, Paramus.
