Tarik Wilson

Tarik Jarell Wilson was born on October 20, 1984 in Newark, New Jersey to Sandra Hill and Charles Wilson. He departed this life on May 21, 2014. Tarik attended the Orange and West Orange school systems in New Jersey. He graduated from West Orange High School with the class of 2003. He attended Passaic County College and played *Division III* basketball. He also attended Lincoln Tech, in Union, New Jersey. He received his certification as a Security Officer in 2012 and was working towards getting his Commercial Driver*s License. Tarik was a very industrious young man. Before his death, he was employed by the St. Barnabas Health System. He worked in the Maintenance Department of Clara Mass Hospital in Bellville, New Jersey. Tarik was many things to many people. He was a caring son, loyal brother, playful uncle, helpful nephew and great friend. But what people will remember most about Tarik, is that he was a *DEVOTED FATHER*. He absolutely loved his daughter, Amariah Layla Wilson. For Tarik, being a father was the most important role of his life and one that he took very seriously. Tarik will be missed and always loved by his family. He is survived by: his daughter, Amariah Layla Wilson; his father, Charles Wilson Jr.; his mother, Sandra Clark; five brothers, Rashaun Hill, Jameel Hill, Kashif Wilson, Sharod Wilson and Bilal Rodgers; two sisters, Gabrielle Wilson and Yazzmin Wilson; five uncles, Frederick Hill, Ricky Wilson, Robert Lee Wilson, Ronny Wilson, and Mark Wilson; five aunts, Gail Hill, Vivian Hill, Margie Wilson, Cynthia Wilson and Naomi Wilson; two sisters-in-Law, Audrey Green-Hill and Robyn King-Hill; two grand-parents, Celie Wilson-Hooks and Charles Wilson Sr.; a loving companion, Jasmin Biggs; a respected step-dad, Gregory L.
