It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Teandre Demer Gipson, Age 14 on August 17, 2025. Teandre Demer Gipson was born on March 13, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri to Deandre Gipson Sr. (Kristen Gipson) and Tierica Hervey, (Robert Woods Sr.) Preceded in death - Fred Hervey.
Teandre was educated at Ingels Elementary, Knotts Elementary, Blue Springs School District and Success Academy. He was a proud student and loved learning and being a part of the school community, He enjoyed math and was enthusiastic about discovering how things worked. He had a love of fishing, music, and playing video games. He was especially passionate about playing outdoors with friends where his spirit and energy came alive. Outside of school, Teandre was active in football where he enjoyed the guidance he received and made lasting friendships. Those who knew Teandre will forever remember his love of children, his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness and generosity, and his adventurous spirit and boundless energy. Most of all, he will be remembered for his infectious smile and the joy he found in spending time with his family creating memories that will be cherished always.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his loving parents, Tierica Hervey, Deandre Gipson, Sr, his siblings Tariyah Valliant, Deandre Gipson, Jr., Robert Woods Jr. , T’Andre Forbush, Heavyn Ewing, Grandparents - Ellaraine Hervey, Sheila Gipson, (Janice Drake) Fred Hervey, Peter Ralls - Godparents – Jozette Barrett , Aunts – Malissa Green, Artise Hervey, Sharaine Hervey, Cierica Hervey, Rayonica Hervey, Uncle – DeRone Gipson, many loving cousins and a host of friends, classmates and teachers (Camille Gay). Though his time with us was far too short, Teandre’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved him.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 30, 2025, visitation will be from 9 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Christian Tabernacle Church of God In Christ 7405 The Paseo Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
Interment: Mt. Moriah Cemetery
