Ted T. Archuleta

Ted T. Archuleta, 85 of El Rito, NM, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ted loved hunting with his son, grandsons and son-in-law. He loved fishing especially with his brothers and friends. Ted and Frances enjoyed going for a drive in the evenings to the mountains to see wildlife. He will not be forgotten.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Frances Archuleta; parents Moises Archuleta and Estella (Martinez) Archuleta; his son Antonio G. Archuleta; grandchildren: James Archuleta, Camile Archuleta, Rick Archuleta, Sharon Ortiz and Ryan Gallegos; siblings George Archuleta, Pete Archuleta, Rudy Archuleta, Genera Archuleta and Camilio Archuleta; special mention Baby Teddy Archuleta.

Ted is survived by his children Levie Archuleta (Phyllis), Linda Archuleta and Lisa Martinez (Frank); siblings: Romie Oselio, Florida Martinez (Augustine) Isabel Siqueiros (Beto), Moises Archuleta (Genara), Cres Archuleta (Gail) Steve Archuleta (Isadora), Tony Archuleta (Janet); surviving sisters-in-law Frances Archuleta and Grace Archuleta; Khloe his beloved fur baby; grandchildren: Jessica Brown (Michael), Leon Archuleta (Kellie), Eric Archuleta (Dee), Shanea Lucero (Nathan). Great grandchildren Eric Antonio Archuleta (Bella), Athena Saenz (Chewy), Alexis Goetz (Adam) Jesse James Archuleta, Alicia Martinez, Aliyah Martinez, Silas Archuleta, Dean Archuleta, Kiaya Archuleta, Tatum Archuleta, Mando Duran, Marc Duran, Ajaya Gallegos, Jerikah Gallegos, Mateo Lucero, Lexi Lucero and Cruz Archuleta.

Special thanks to his granddaughter Jessica Brown his DOL nurse and Eloida his hospice nurse.

Services will be held Friday February 13, 2026, at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Rosary at 10:00 am and Funeral Mass immediately following, burial will take place at the El Rito Community Cemetery.
