TED GLADSTONE Obituary

GLADSTONE--Ted S. , passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at age 90 on June 15th. Ted grew up in Forest Hills, NY with his parents Esther and Newton and older brother Leonard. Ted spent many wonderful summers at Camp Winadu, served as an army paramedic, graduated from Columbia University, founded a successful real estate development firm, and volunteered in the building of Scarsdale Synagogue. Ted was an accomplished golfer and tennis player. He greatly enjoyed family gatherings, ocean swims, contemporary art, the NY Giants, jazz, opera, politics, and his many dogs. Ted will be remembered fondly for his fun-loving and kind nature, sense of humor, modesty, work ethic and determination. Ted was preceded in death by his loving wife Alexandra and his beloved grandson Stephen. He is survived by his children Elizabeth Martin (David), Richard Gladstone (Lisa) and Julie Amouyal (Laurent), and grandchildren Jennifer, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Chloe, Emily, Margot and Ella. Ted will be dearly missed.
