Ted Marshall, aged 73, of Flat Rock, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. Born on February 3, 1952, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Ted lived a life full of love, dedication, and adventure.

Ted dedicated his professional years to GE, where he retired after many years of commendable service. A proud veteran, he served in the US Army National Guard, reflecting his commitment to his country and his community.

In his personal life, Ted found joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for raising farm animals, a testament to his nurturing spirit and deep appreciation for nature. He cherished the times spent camping, finding solace and excitement in the great outdoors. One of his greatest joys was line dancing, a pastime he lovingly shared with his late wife, Molly, who passed away earlier this year.

Ted was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Huey and Ethel Jones Marshall; his dear wife, Molly Marshall; his brother, Bill Marshall; and his sister, Wilma Mathis. He is survived by his brother Larry Marshall and wife Alida; brother-in-law Tommy Mathis; and sister-in-law Wanda Marshall. His legacy continues through his nieces, Cristy, Vicky, Brandy, and Diane, as well as his nephews, Travis, Jason, and Gene.

Per Ted's wishes, no formal services will be held. In honor of his memory, those who knew him may choose to celebrate his life in their hearts, recalling fond memories and the impact he made on those around him.

Ted will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His warmth, kindness, and zest for life leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
