Teddy Blair Obituary
He was born Aug. 5, 1940, to Montie and Eula Thompson Blair. Teddy worked as a truck driver. Teddy and Jewell lived in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of College Heights Methodist Church. He found joy in woodworking, golfing, fishing, being with family and going to his nephews football and basketball games.
He was preceded in death by father, Montie Blair; his mother, Eula Blair; and two brothers-in-law, Walter Kinser and Canall Mardis.
Teddy is survived by his loving spouse of 65 years, Jewell Blair; three brothers, Darrell (Wilma) Blair, Donnie (Marcy) Blair and Roger (Donna) Blair; four sisters, Carolyn Kenser, Shirlene (Gary) Asborne, Dixie (Haywood) Riner and LouAnn (Jack) Beard; two stepsisters, Phyllis (James) Jeffries and Patsy (Steve) Scroggin; a sister-in-law, Rosalene Mardis; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows at 3 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
