Teddy Adrian Powell, aged 39, from Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Adrian was known for his unwavering strength and dedication, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.
A funeral service to honor Adrian's life will be held on Friday, October 4th, at 1:00 PM ET at the Rising Fawn Church of God with Pastor Chris Hagler officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Adrian worked for many years as a Team Lead at Trenton Pressing, where his commitment to excellence and leadership inspired both colleagues and friends alike. He approached his work with the same passion he brought to his personal interests, including fishing and woodworking. Additionally, Adrian was a valued member of the Davis Volunteer Fire Department.
Adrian's greatest love was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda Powell, and his children: Patty (Yabsera) Alemayehu, James Allen Powell, and Justice Clinton Pemberton. As a proud "Pop Pop," he shared a special bond with his granddaughter, Amyah Alemayehu, who brought him immeasurable joy.
He also leaves behind his mother, Bonnie (Neal) Shull; his brother, Jeremy Jones; and his sisters, Christy Jones and Amanda Powell. Adrian was fortunate to be surrounded by in-laws, Tony and Irene Swafford, who loved him like their own. His circle of friends was equally dear to him, with special friendships fostered over the years with Chris and Christal McPhetridge, Tiffany Thomas, Kris Thomas, and Allen Crump. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by several extended family members and friends.
Adrian was preceded in death by his father, Teddy Powell, and his son, Joshua Bailey.
Adrian Powell leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, dedication, and warmth. His spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
In honoring Adrian's memory, the family has taken care of the funeral expenses, but any donations to help offset these costs would be deeply appreciated.
