Teddy Stout Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Memorial Funeral Home LLC on Jul. 21, 2023.
At Dean's request, there will be no service. Condolences may be made to his Facebook page @DeanoStumpyStout.
Teddy "Dean" Stout, age 50 of Alcoa, met Jesus face to face in the early hours of May 22, 2023, after a sudden but brief illness. If you met anybody who knew him, their first response was, "Dean's crazy!" He had the best sense of humor and loved to be on the go. Dean enjoyed taking drives through Cades Cove and going on spontaneous road trips, his favorite being to the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania battlefield. He also loved to fish and owned over 40 fishing poles! At one point, he had 80 fish tanks and knew the history of every fish he owned. He was an animal lover and was known to say that he sometimes liked animals more than he liked people. Dean attended Fulton High School and worked at various companies, throughout his career. As a former MMA fighter, Dean was as strong as an ox and loved being the protector. He was an excellent artist, and his talents didn't go unnoticed. Dean's ability to create and draw anything was unmatched. Preceded in death by grandparents, Helen and Earl Hux, Katherine Dalton and Hugie Stout, aunts Kathy Dean Schubert and Gail McFarland. Survived by mother, Earlene Thompson; father, Teddy Alvin Stout; brother, Bryan Stout; sisters, Cherish (Dean) Pressley and Tambla (Joey) Hubbs, daughter, Ventura Dean Stout, special uncle Butch Schubert, Elaine (Wing) Stout, and numerous extended family.
