Telotey O'Brien

March 6, 1945 - October 6, 2025

Telotey A. "Toni" O'Brien, 80, of Marinette, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born March 6, 1945 to Randall and Ann (Marshall) O'Brien in Ashland, Wisconsin where she spent her early life and graduated from high school. Toni went on to study at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse where she earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Her career in education began at Medford, WI before coming to Marinette in 1973 to join the School District of Marinette. Toni taught Physical Education and Health along with coaching girl's basketball and track in her early years at Marinette. She retired from teaching in 2000. Always active, she loved softball and playing golf.

Toni is survived by her partner, Marlene Menard of Marinette; her siblings, Patricia ("Da Matriarch") Offer, Scherrie (Toby) Moris, Joe O'Brien, Mike (Julie) O'Brien and Geri ("Nuffy") O'Brien; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack; a sister and brother-in-law, Judi and Earl Anderson; infant sisters, Mary and Mary Clarice; a nephew, Jeff Offer; a niece, Kym Fox; and a sister-in-law, Amy O'Brien.

A memorial in Marinette will be planned for a later date and also in Ashland at the time of her burial.
