Teodora Munoz, 82, of Beeville, Texas, passed away October 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Teodora was born on October 28, 1940 in Beeville, Texas to Epimenio and Estefana Cuellar. She married Felipe Munoz on December 8, 1962 in Beeville, Texas and was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Family was very important to Teodora and cooking was a way she showed her love, especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas and she also enjoyed watching Spanish novellas.
Teodora was preceded in death by her spouse of 61 years, Felipe Munoz; her parents, Epimenio and Estefana Cuellar; two brothers, Henry Cuellar and Richard Cuellar; and a sister, Helen Amado.
Left behind to cherish her memory are a brother, Ben Cuellar; a sister, Josie Posada; two daughters, Mary Miller and Linda Flores (Artie); two sons, Michael Munoz (Lori) and Robert Lee Munoz (Jeanette); six grandchildren, Mariah Kari Miller, Jamie Cox, Gabriella Munoz, Lauren Flores, Saleen Flores and Aaliyah Munoz; three step-grandchildren, John Moses, Julie Moses and Brittney Moses; and one great-grandson, Grayson Gomez.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 8 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Pete Elizardo officiating.
Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville.
Pallbearers will be John Gabriel Posada, John Moses, Romio Gomez, Javier Martinez, Jerry Posada and Adrina Puga.
Family will gather for a reception at 300 E. Flournoy, Beeville, following the burial.
