Terence Plagman Obituary
12/04/1952 - 07/26/2025
Terence Michael Plagman, US Army Veteran, 72, passed away at his home in San Francisco, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Kathryn Plagman and his brothers Bruce Plagman (Joan) and Kevin Plagman (Mary). He is survived by his sister in law, Mary, his nieces, Kerry Plagman Daly, and Megan Plagman McWilliams, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends, and his dear community in San Francisco. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio Terry lived his life as an avid reader, baseball fan, eternal jokester, and supportive friend. He graduated from St. Edward High School '71 and from the University of San Francisco and worked for many years in the banking industry. His family and friends will remember his devoted work with Martin de Porres House of Hospitality. As "Uncle Terry," he provided his nieces with clever card tricks and endless laughs. He found peace and purpose with a close community of friends in San Francisco. His generosity and contributions will be fondly remembered. His sharp sense of humor and luminous smile will be greatly missed. Contributions to his memory can be made to Martin de Porres House of Hospitality at martindeporres.org.

I was sad to hear about Terry´s passing. I was a friend of his in high school and have many fond memories of him. He was such a kind and caring person even "back then." So wonderful that he was able to share his kindness with others throughout the remainder of his life.

Terry was one of a kind! A gentle soul with a fabulous sense of humor! I am proud to have him as a cousin. One of those great humble men who loved the Tribe and his family. May His passing remind us to smile more often and greet others as he did! Rest in Heavenly Peace my dear cousin.

Terrance went by Michael his middle name here in San Francisco. Michael was a great friend and confidant of mine and many others. We had many breakfast, Lunch & Dinners over many years. We recently went to a MLB Game the SF Giants vs LA Dodges with are friends. Michael used to play on many softball teams in SF. He was a very proud loyal life long MLB Cleveland Indian fan. Mike was loved and highly respected by all. Michael was good man and a man of god. Terry / Michael will be truly missed for his kind heart and wisdom. RIP my brother Michael Your friend & family AL SANDOVAL.

Always looked forward to seeing the Plagmans ( who bartended ) for the INDIANS home opener with their Cleveland family and friends at the Far-Mor Cafe when owned by the Pickett brothers. Jay
