Terence Prowant Obituary

Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Danville on June 5, 1946, a son of the late Jack and Frances (DeHart ) Prowant. He
was married to the former Luanne Bird. Together, they celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Terry was a 1965 graduate of Milton High School and worked for Buffalo Valley Telephone
Co. and Windstream. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
He loved hunting, fishing, and trapping, as well as reading, cutting wood, and gardening. He was a
master tinkerer and a true Renaissance man.
In addition to his wife, Luanne, he is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Jennifer
and Jody Satteson of New Columbia, Leesa and Patrick Rabuck of Altoona, and Amy and
Gavin Robinson of Pennsylvania Furnace; nine grandchildren: Jerika, John, James (Amanda),
Jack, Darian (Angelee), Dakota, Duke (Sydney), Gavin, and Sadie; 11 great grandchildren:
Oliver, Ophelia, Elijah, Kovi, Colton, Luanna, MyaBella, Primrose, Ayrton, Bron, and Wren
Lee; a brother, Steven Prowant of Oregon, two sisters, Kathleen Goodwin of New Columbia
and Christine Fry of Milton, and an honorary son, Thomas Clouser.
Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00
a.m. at Christ Wesleyan Church in the Davis Chapel at 363 Stamm Rd. Milton. Funeral
services will begin at 11:00 with Rev. Ken Paulhamus officiating. Burial with military honors
will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. In honor of Terry, please wear your favorite plaid or flannel.
