At a very early age Teresa was meant to be a teacher. I can say I knew her the day I was born. She was part of my life since I was a young child. Her mother and mine were the dearest of friends. When I was little she would have me read into a tape recorder to help me with my speech. I loved watching her dance and show me her dance routines. She even tried to teach me. I remember when she was getting ready for her senior pictures and she let me help her. She was more of a sister to me than a friend. You have a very special place in my heart and I know you will fly with angles wings.

Teresa had strength, resolve, and dedication. She would check in on me, share funny stories, share good news, and offer reassurance when needed. Teresa cared deeply for students, parents, teachers, and staff, and made a difference for so many. She always did what she could to make things better. I miss you Teresa!

Teresa always made me laugh! We had some interesting conversations when we taught together. I never met a person quite like Teresa. She always called me during the pandemic and most recently told me about her and Covid. I will truly miss our talks! RIP my friend!
