Teresa Carmen Carlson

Teresa Carmen Carlson (nee Aja), born August 21, 1931, passed away March 2, 2026.

Daughter of Louis Aja and Irene Aja (nee Reynolds), she grew up in Barre, Vermont. She moved to Connecticut in the 1950's with Lindsey, her husband of over 50 years. She resided in Enfield for nearly 75 years where she worked with Lindsey in their accounting and tax business.

She was predeceased by her husband Lindsey, as well as her brothers Edward (Teddy), Louis (Louie) and Joe. She was also predeceased by her sisters Dorothy (Dot) and Eleanor (Ellie). She is survived by her sisters Pauline (Polly) and Marion (Liz). She was predeceased by her beloved dog Bebe. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Although it may sound like too little and not enough to say, she was quite simply a very nice, kind and gracious lady. 

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in South Windsor for all their care these last couple of years.   

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Leete-Stevens Funeral Home, 61 South Road, Enfield. A burial will follow at the Springdale Cemetery, East Windsor.
