Obituary of Teresa Ann Chero
Teresa Ann Chero, 61, Armagh passed away July 7, 2025, at Independence Health Butler Memorial Hospital. Born June 25, 1964, in Cheyenne, WY, the daughter of late Ronald and Agatha (Furfari) Chero. Also preceded in death by paternal grandparents Rocco and Anna Chero, and maternal grandparents Dominico and Margaret Furfari, aunts and uncles, David Chero, Sharon Chero, Mary Furfari, Joseph Furfari, and Pete Furfari.
Survived by brothers Ronald "Rocky" Chero and wife Heidi, Dominico Chero, and sister Rose Hartz and husband Dale. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Nichole "Nyk" Yeager, Heather Chero, Dominico "Nooch" Chero and wife Molly, Samantha Howe and husband Zachary, Deanna Welker and husband Alex, Cara Strauss and husband Greg, Blake Chero and wife Jiawen, Hanna Chero, Tyler Hartz, Caitlin Wigney-Hartz, Jensine Wigney-Hartz, James Chero, and Kristina Raineri and husband Michael; great nieces and great nephews, Ashton Chero, Joe Howe, Dominico Rocco Chero, Rhys Robert Chero, Sophia Raineri, Wade Welker, and Harmony Hartz.
Teresa was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran. She also was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and United H.S. teams. She also enjoyed watching old movies and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
A graveside service at Bethel Cemetery, 1354 Bethel Cemetery Rd., New Florence, PA will be held at 10 AM Saturday August 30, 2025. Military honors by the US Marine Corps and Blairsville Military Honor Guard. Family assisted by Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh
