Teresa Kay Comer

Teresa Kay Comer 62, Kokomo, died at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at St.Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after a brief illness. She was born June 1, 1948, in Portland, Ore., to the late Dorcle Walter Comer Sr. and Anna Mae (Jackson) Comer. Teresa had worked at Delco Electronics for more then 30 years, retiring in 1996. She also was a member of the local UAW 292. Survivors include a son, Robert M. Comer, Kokomo; a brother, Fred "Rick" (Dawn) Comer, Kokomo; a sister, Cynthia A. (David) Warner, Kokomo; and one grandchild, Brady Michael Comer. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Doris A. Sullivan, Donna Sunday; and a brother, Dorcle Walter Comer Jr. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the Mortuary, with the Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
