Teresa May Durbin was born April 07, 1962 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Thureal Edward Harre Sr. and Mary Anna (Rush) Harre. She married Kent Lee Durbin on August 01, 1980; together they celebrated 45 years of marriage and the birth of two daughters. Teresa was an active member of the First Christian Church of Brownstown. She was fiercely protective of her husband, children, and grandchildren; loving them with her whole being. Family was the center of her world. Teresa was employed by the Fayette County Sherriff's Office for 38 years where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. After retiring in 2017, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Nail Technician and owned her own shop for a short period of time before her illness prevented her from continuing. She will forever be remembered by her husband, Kent Durbin of Vandalia; daughter, Lacey and husband John Glynn of Vandalia; daughter, Ashley Meseke and partner Katie Cook of Vandalia. She was Grandma to granddaughter, Everly Glynn of Vandalia; grandsons, Tucker and Cooper Meseke of Vandalia; step-grandsons, Hunter Glynn and wife Nora of Toledo and John Glynn II "CJ" of Altamont. Teresa was known as TT to Leland and Bella Redman of Vandalia, Elli Dunaway of Vandalia and Baylor Jones of Centralia. Also surviving are her brother, Lloyd Harre of Brownstown; sisters, Mary Stewart of Statesville, NC, Helen and husband Bill Holman of Brownstown, Sheila and husband Jim Pruett of Brownstown, Tammy and husband Kent Woolsey of Vandalia; numerous nieces, nephews, sister friends known as "The 80's Ladies" and many beloved friends bound by love not by blood.
