Teresa Griesmayer, 77, Greenville, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Friday, December 5, 2025. She was born August 6, 1948, in Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Josephine (Persha) Rashleigh. Teresa attended nursing school and took great pride in her LPN title, assisting surgeons in the operating room. She was employed by the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan until her retirement in 2009. Teresa married Michael Griesmayer on April 4, 1987, and after retirement the couple moved to the valley where Teresa enjoyed decorating the home, reading, cooking, and taking walks around the neighborhood. She was also an avid downhill skier who was able to experience many of the slopes throughout the country, and even met Robert Redford on one occasion. Teresa was a devout member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenville.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Michael; a son, Daniel (Kelly) Myett; grandchildren: Bailey, Calvin, and Ryan Myett; a sister, Jean (Richard) Andrews; a brother, Robert (Marty) Rashleigh Jr.; a sister-in-law, Kathy (Russ) Wenzel; a brother-in-law, John Griesmayer Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville. Fr. Michael Warden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Valley Funeral Home, N1858 Greenville Drive, from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, and again at the church from 9-11 a.m. Friday.
