Teresa K. Holsonback, born on August 26, 1958, in Batesville, Mississippi, departed this life on May 8, 2025, in Oxford, Mississippi. Teresa was a loving wife, cherished sister, and was known for her warm spirit and kind heart.
The family will celebrate her life 3:00 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2025, in the Martin Willigham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
After a successful career spanning 35 years, Teresa retired as the office manager for J.C. Penney, where her organizational skills and commitment were highly respected. Beyond her professional achievements, she found immense joy in her personal pursuits. Among her many interests, Teresa had a deep passion for arts and crafts, creating beautiful birdhouses, and indulging in her love for watching dramatic television shows. She particularly adored her Cocker Spaniel, Max, who brought her great companionship and happiness.
Teresa is mourned by her beloved husband, Mark Davis of Oxford, Mississippi, and her supportive brother, Michael S. Martindale of Courtland, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max Dwain and Mary Teresa "Maureen" Martindale, whose guidance and love shaped her into the remarkable person she became.
Teresa K. Holsonback will be remembered for her generosity, creativity, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She leaves a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.
