Teresa E. Jones, 73, of New Castle passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Waters of New Castle. She was born February 14, 1951 in New Castle to the late George and Betty Jo (Martin) Dugger.
Teresa attended Hagerstown schools and New Castle schools; she graduated in 1969. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Senior Regent/Moose Lodge. Teresa was passionate about organizing trips and meals for senior saints at Grace Baptist Church. She would volunteer at the Senior Center and attended church at Grace Baptist Church. Teresa enjoyed going out to eat with her cousins and friend, Mary Kinnett. She also enjoyed meeting with the girls from Hagerstown for monthly dinners.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Laura (Chad) Brown and Lynne Bennett; grandson, Titen Bennett; granddaughter, Maura (Korbin) Fowler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Dugger.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Teresa at www.hinsey-brown.com
