Teresa Marie Osborne, 51 and her son Kaiden James Osborne, 14, passed away at home on Saturday, October 15th, 2022.
Teresa was a graduate of Pennfield High School and Grand Valley State University. She started her career with Felpausch Food Centers in Marketing. Upon leaving Felpausch, her career path led her to serving others. The Food Bank of South Central Michigan, The United Way of Greater Battle Creek, Community Health Care Connections to name a few. She was also a member of the Rotary Club of Battle Creek. She loved spending time with family, cooking family recipes, gardening, caring for others, but most importantly, she loved being Kaiden's mom. She attended every school function, concert and play. She became a theatre mom, helping with props and costumes, getting Kaiden and friends to and from rehearsals and chaperoning.
Kaiden just started his freshman year at Lakeview High School. He was continuing his love of theatre and was invited to become a member of the Lakeview Spartanaires. Theatre was one of his passions as he loved acting and singing. He participated in 11 plays through middle school and won the lead role in James and the Giant Peach. His love of theatre came second only to his family, his animals, and his friends. He was an artist and avid reader. He loved movies, especially the Marvel MCU. He loved to attend plays and musicals and attended Wicked in New York City this summer with his parents as his Christmas present. He was never without a smile, warm and witty, kind, sweet natured and so very smart.
