Teresa Rosales Peregrina Imhoff was born on March 21, 1949, in La Huerta, Jalisco, Mexico. She passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 76.
Teresa lived in Texas and Utah before making her home in Salt Lake City. On January 6, 1973, she married the love of her life, Jack L. Imhoff. They shared 50 wonderful years together until his passing in 2023. Together, they raised three children, Patricia, Peter, and Jackie Jr., and welcomed five cherished grandchildren: Devin, Carter, Owen, Logan, and Darian, all of whom were the light of her life.
Teresa had a love for simple joys—she enjoyed driving around the valley to explore and especially loved eating at buffets. She was proud to become a U.S. citizen in 2008. As the oldest sister, she held a special place in the hearts of her siblings: Silvestre, Vicente, Rosa, Leticia, Irma, and Manuel Jr.
Her family is deeply grateful to the Deaf Center and the many interpreters at Interwest Interpreting who supported Teresa over the years. They also extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. M. Solomon, Dr. E. Hwang, and to Canyon Homecare and Hospice for the kind and loving care they provided.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Teodocia R. Daniel and Manuel Daniel Sr.; her brothers Silvestre Peregrina, Vicente Daniel; and her beloved husband, Jack.
