Teresa Ramey Obituary
Teresa Earnestine Ramey, 73 of Switzer, WV, departed this life on July 21, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.
She was born February 27, 1951 in Man, WV the daughter of the late Ben Browning & Elenore Browning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Clevina Hackney grandson, Gabriel Webb, sisters, Liz Gent and Dawn Browning and her in-laws, Steve & Dona Ramey.
Teresa loved her grandkids the most. She enjoyed spending time with family, making everyone laugh and watching WWE.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Cleveland Ramey; daughters, Stevina Workman and Sandra (Randall) Nelson; sons, William Hammonds and Ronnie Hammonds; sister, Kim Walls; brothers, Eddie Browning and Michael Browning; grandchildren, Kaylee Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Christopher Nelson, Randall Nelson Jr, Cleveland Tyler Ramey, Jayden Workman, and Brandon Webb; great grandchildren, Madilynn Kay Furr, and Karson Nelson (due 12/28/24), step great-grandson, Hudson Browning; and her lifelong friend, Resa Mitchell.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Gary Queen officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randall Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Christopher Nelson, Jagger Furr, Cleveland Tyler Ramey and Brandon Webb.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
