Rodney Frank Ramey, 68, of Westminster, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2026 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC. Born on February 8, 1958, he was the son of the late Loyd Luther Ramey and Beulah Pauline Carver Ramey.

Rodney was a skilled carpenter and machinist, often described as a "jack of all trades." He took great pride in working with his hands and could fix or build just about anything. In his spare time, Rodney enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and horses, and tinkering with various projects. He had a deep love for music and found joy in playing the guitar, banjo, and other stringed instruments.

He was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church.

Rodney is survived by his sister, Sandra Roach; his special friend, Gloria Jordan; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a special nephew and devoted caregiver, Cody Ramey and his wife, Cassie, whose care and support meant so much to him.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy "Cotton" Ramey; sisters, Janice Neal, Brenda Sosby, and Jo Ann Ramey.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
