Teresa Lynn "TC" Forkasdi (Wood) passed away on November 6, 2025, in Lexington, South Carolina, at the age of 56. Born on September 14, 1969, in the same beloved town she called home throughout her life, Teresa's journey was one marked by deep family bonds and enduring passions.
Teresa was the cherished daughter of Mable M. Wood and the late William Wood. She shared a close-knit upbringing with her siblings and carried that sense of connection into every aspect of her life. Her love for family remained a guiding force through both joyful and challenging times.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Terry Forkasdi; her father, William Wood; her sister, Trudy Parrish; and a precious grandbaby lovingly remembered as Baby Bean.
Teresa is survived by her loving children: son Brandon Smith and daughters Kayla Smith and Kelcy Wiles. Her legacy continues through her granddaughters Savannah Smith and Gracie Smith, who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind her mother, Mable M. Wood; her brother William Wood and his wife Janet; sisters Connie Floyd (Sammy Floyd), Angie Crede (Phillip Crede), and Brenda Holladay (Bob Holladay). Teresa held a special place in her heart for all of her nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched with warmth and affection.
A proud supporter of Clemson Football, Teresa found great joy in cheering on her team. Her enthusiasm for the game reflected the spirited energy she brought to gatherings with loved ones-moments filled with laughter, loyalty, and shared memories.
Those who knew Teresa will remember her as someone who valued family above all else. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives she graced.
May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her. Visitation will be held on November 9, 2025, at 03:00 PM at City Of Hope Worship Center, 1403 D Avenue West Columbia, SC 29169 followed by a Memorial Service starting at 4:00 PM.
