Teresita Alarkon (née Pangilinan), 76, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a respected physician in pediatrics and geriatrics.
She is survived by her husband Waldimar; children Glizhelle (Shubert Austin), Walter (Abigail Sindzinski), and Warren; and grandchildren Caleb, Cindy, Ace, and Axl as well as her siblings Percival Pangilinan, Lorraine Pangilinan Guerra, Asterio Pangilinan, and Tristan Pangilinan. She is predeceased by her parents Lauro Pangilinan and Herminia Pangilinan (Hular), and siblings Lorimer Pangilinan and Emmanuel Pangilinan.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, from 6–8 p.m. at Cornell Memorial Home, Danbury. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, with burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
