Teri Williamson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Mill Street on Feb. 16, 2026.
Teri Lynn Williamson, 49, entered into the presence of her Savior, leaving behind a legacy of strength, unwavering faith, and fierce love that will continue to ripple through every life she touched.

At the very heart of Teri's life was her family. She carried a deep, abiding love for her parents, Terry, and the late, Sheri Black - honoring them, supporting them, and cherishing the foundation they gave her. The bond she shared with her brother, Brandon Black, and sister, Kirsty Courson, was one of unwavering love.

She loved her brother-in-law, Mark Courson and her beloved friend, Becky Cruz, as family in every sense of the word, and her nieces and nephew were a constant source of joy and pride. She prayed for them, encouraged them, and celebrated who they were becoming. Her love for her family was steady, protective, and wholehearted - a reflection of the same faithful love she showed to everyone blessed to know her.

Teri's family extended far beyond blood. When you walked into Blackbull, you were family - and she chose to invest in you. She had a rare and beautiful gift: she truly saw people. She listened deeply, remembered the smallest details, and quietly carried the burdens of others as if they were her own.

She treasured being trusted. Her faithfulness - to her family, her friends, her community, and most of all to Christ - was evident in the way she lived. Through her endurance, her kindness, and her courage, she reflected Jesus in a way that gently drew others closer to Him.

As the owner of Blackbull CrossFit since 2011, Teri built more than a gym. She built a community - a place where people discovered strength they didn't know they had because she saw it in them first. She believed in others on the days they struggled to believe in themselves and poured into them relentlessly.

Teri understood endurance. She completed 11 Boulder Beasts, each one a testament to her grit and determination.

That same perseverance carried her through her battle with cancer. She faced every obstacle the way she faced every race - head-on, with courage, grit, and unshakable hope.

She trusted God in the valleys as faithfully as she praised Him on the mountaintops. Hope was not just something Teri spoke about - it was how she lived. In suffering, she showed strength. In uncertainty, she chose faith. In hardship, she poured out love. She reminded those around her that perseverance is not the absence of pain, but the presence of purpose - and that our ultimate victory is found in Christ.

Though her race on earth is finished, she now rests in eternal glory. Her legacy lives on in every life she strengthened, every heart she encouraged, and every soul she reminded: you are capable, you are seen, and you are deeply loved.

Visitation will be at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St on Teri's birthday, Friday February 20, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. immediately followed by a Memorial Service honoring her life officiated by Rev. Dr. Richard Nero.
