Terisa Durrance died June 18, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A resident of Okeechobee for over 40 years, she was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. She enjoyed genealogy, traveling and spending time with her grandkids.
Mrs. Durrance was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Perkins; and father, Daniel Lockemy.
Terisa is survived by her husband of 43 years, William "WJ" Durrance, of Okeechobee, Florida; daughters, Amanda Chouinard and Stacie Palmero, both of Okeechobee, Florida; six grandchildren, Kayla Rippy, Haley Chouinard, Tyler Chouinard, Brent Durrance, Britney Dolce, and Jordan Palmero; nine great grandchildren, Jazmine Hopper, Jaiden Durrance, Diana Macelroy, Graysen Chouinard, Jayla Cabello, Lillian Cabello, Jayce Cabello, Mackinzie Durrance, and Logan Zabel; and sisters, Susan Ebner, of Salem, Virginia, Linda Hoey, of Altoona, Florida, and Holly Parsons, of Greensboro, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
