Terre Tillitt Obituary
Terre Kay Tillitt, 76, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on February 18th, 2024, in her Casper home.
Terre was born in Forsyth, Montana to Irving and Leota Mariner on September 21st, 1947. She graduated in the class of 1967 from Hysham High School, in Hysham, Montana. An active community member and woman of faith, Terre devoted her life to caring for others, especially her family, friends, and beloved pets. Terre was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.
Terre is survived by her two sons, Phil (Ming Yue) Tillitt of Casper, Wyoming and Darcy (Kristen) Tillitt of St. Louis, Missouri; Phil’s children, Christopher Tillitt and Nichole Swanson, and her grandchildren, Corbin Tillitt, Ashlinn Swanson, Olive Tillitt, Bailey Tillitt and Weston Swanson, all of Casper, Wyoming. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, Richard “Dick” Tillitt in 2008.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Casper, with a reception directly afterward at Hilltop Baptist Church at 2555 E. 2nd St. in Casper.
Terre loved her animals (cats and dogs) and the family requests donations be made to the Casper Humane Society.
