Terrel Lenson White, age 83, passed away on July 24, 2025 in Utah. He was born on May 18, 1942 in Texas to his parents William Oliver and Willie Fay White. He married Mary Christine Savage on February 7, 1963.
Terrel started his career as a private in the Air Force. He earned many awards during his career including Senior NCO of the Quarter on multiple occasions, Professional of the Year, and many more. When he retired he did so with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard. Throughout his life he enjoyed all things outdoors; golf, boating, fishing and of course camping. Most of all Terrel loved his beautiful family. He married the love of his life with whom they had two amazing children, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one more on the way. He was an amazing person and will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Christine White. Their beautiful daughter Christy Santos (Fernando), daughter in law Jennifer Miller. Grandchildren; Amber Pay (Zach), Alex Polson, Weston White (Ashanti), Ben Miller, Cassie White and Megan White. Great-grandchildren; Tryson Jacobson, Kaydance Pay, Jackson Pay, Parker Pay. As well as his younger brother John White and countless friends whom he made such a huge impact on throughout his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents Willie Fay and William Oliver White. His dear son James White, granddaughter Taylor Marie White, and his older sister Martha Ford.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
In lieu of a viewing, the family invites you to join them for a luncheon following the interment.
