Terrence M. Gilpatrick

Terrence "Terry" M. Gilpatrick, of Westtown, NY, died unexpectedly on January 14, 2026. He was 75. Terry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ellen Gilpatrick; two daughters, Erin McClay (Robert) and Anna Gilpatrick (Jonathan Davis); grandchildren Audrey Davis and Rhys Davis; sisters Rory Gilpatrick (John Caligaris), Margaret Sheehan (Gregory) and Elizabeth Hrabowsky (Robert); many loving nieces, nephews and good friends. Terry was born on February 27, 1950, to Amisa and Audrey Gilpatrick, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, NJ. The Gilpatrick family moved to Vernon, NJ when Terry was 12 years old. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1968. He later reconnected with old friends and participated in his 50th class reunion. For over 30 years, Terry worked in the family business at Gilpatrick Associates, Land Surveyors and Engineers in Vernon, NJ. Terry proudly built his home for his family in 1987 in Westtown, NY. For those who were lucky enough to be on his Christmas list, he was the maker of the best peanut brittle in the world, which he lovingly crafted with his family for over 40 years. Terry was a Ham radio enthusiast and was a member of the Orange County Amateur Radio Club and a past member of Minisink Hose Co. #1 Unionville Fire Department, Unionville, NY. Visitation for Terrence will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 1-5PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416.
