It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Teresa "Terri" Cecelia Blevins, age 65, from Bryant, AL. She passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, due to a sudden heart attack.
A funeral service in honor of Terri's life will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, at 1:00 PM ET at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Edwin Spurgeon officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 ET to 8:00 PM ET and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
Terri was known for her kind and generous spirit, always placing her loved ones above all else. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and cooking; renowned for making some of the best dinner rolls. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Terri is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Chris Blevins; sister, Debbie Hanks; step-father, Robert Mullis; mother-in-law, Jodie Blevins; step-brother, Dennis Mullis; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Kay) Blevins and Greg Blevins; niece, Michelle Hanks; as well as several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents R.D. Ridgway and Laura Mae Stalvey Mullis.
Terri will be remembered for her warmth and generosity by all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
