Terri Edwards Obituary
Terri Bernadette Edwards, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Athens, Georgia, at the age of 52. Born October 19, 1973, in Royston, Georgia, she lived her life embodying the values of her Christian faith, which served as a guiding light to all who knew her.
Terri is survived by her treasured son, Tyler Stone, and her adoring daughter, Maddie Sewell, as well as her fur baby, Rocky, her dog that she was inseparable from. She also leaves behind her devoted brothers, Rodney (April) Edwards and Roger Edwards, who will remember her warmth and kindness fondly. Terri was a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews: Christian Edwards, R.J. Edwards, Ammarae Johnson, Rilee Tessier, and Tate Edwards. Her loving spirit touched the lives of each of them, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy.
Terri was preceded in death by her father, Barnard Edwards; her mother, Nancy Haley Edwards; and her sister, Teresa Edwards.
A visitation in honor of Terri will take place on December 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. Those who knew Terri are invited to come and celebrate her life and legacy during this time of remembrance.
Her compassionate heart, unwavering faith, and vibrant spirit will be missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
