Terrie L. Gardner
72, of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 19, 2025.
She was born May 14, 1952, in Middletown, to the late Robert and Mary E. (Lyons) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Terrie was preceded in death her grandson, Toby Gardner; son-in-law, Rob Lane; granddaughter, Nikki Lane; and beloved pet, Maxie.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Marti) Gardner, Emily (Alan) Lane, and Elizabeth Johnson; grandchildren, Cody (Holly) Gardner, Tanner (Rayven) Gardner, Justin (Brittany) Lane, Joseph Lane, Kyle Lane, Chris Lane, Alex (Lauren Rushing) Gardner, Austin Stringfield, and Andrew Stringfield; great grandchildren, Clementine, Waylon, Stetson, Nakhia, Joice, Gemma, Brayden, Madilynn, and Ellie; siblings, Lydia Taylor and Bill Taylor; niece, Stefani Taylor; former spouse, Charles Gardner; and pets, Cricket and Maggie.
Terrie had a unique ability to find joy in the little things. Whether she was indulging in a relaxing day of shopping, watching her favorite shows on QVC, or laughing uncontrollably at the funny TikTok videos she would stay up late watching, her sense of humor and zest for life never faded. She loved to share these moments with her family and friends, always forwarding the funniest videos that would make everyone smile.
A true animal lover, Terrie cherished her dogs, Cricket and Maggie, who brought her immense comfort and joy. She never forgot her beloved Maxie, who passed away just last year, but whose spirit remained with her always. Terrie’s love for her furry companions was evident in everything she did, and they brought her a sense of peace and companionship.
Terrie was also a dedicated member of Life Flowing Ministries, where she served as the Treasurer and sang in the choir. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her church family were a testament to her deep spiritual commitment. She found joy in her role within the church, offering her time, talents, and heart to those around her.
Those who knew Terrie will remember her as a loving and caring soul, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. She had a heart full of love for everyone in her life, and her genuine kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 24 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Jim Webb officiating. Terrie will be laid to rest at Fairmount Cemetery, beside her parents.
