Terry Bassett Obituary
Terry graduated from Princeton High School in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, then went to work at Whirlpool in Evansville for 25 years. Terry married Marlene Meier Bassett, June 4, 1972. Terry had a classic hot rod car which he enjoyed, along with going to sock hops.
Terry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marlene Bassett; daughter, Maria Bassett; siblings-in- law, Ed Cross, Marlane and Ben Bryant, and David and Donna Meier; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and 2 brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2026 at Albright Cemetery in Mackey where the Retired Military Veterans will conduct military rites. Interment will follow the services.
