Terry Lee Blanchard

Terry Lee Blanchard, 66, of Dayton, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at his home.
He was born on January 26, 1959 and is the son of Peggy Field and the late Paul Blanchard.
Terry served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was a skilled carpenter and true jack of all trades, known for his ability to fix, build, or improve just about anything. Deeply active in his church, he lived his faith through service to his community. As part of that service, Terry proudly built bicycles for underprivileged children. He found joy in tending his garden and grilling food for his family and friends. He was a devoted caregiver for the elderly. Above all, he was a loving and kind father and husband who will be greatly missed.
Terry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sherry (Smith) Blanchard who survives.
Terry is survived by two children, Vincent Immanual Blanchard and Dawn Marie Blanchard; a brother, Michael Haught; two sisters, Debbie Jones Herring and Gloria Jones; two step-sons, Wade Garrett Coe and JD Short; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Flemming.
A service celebrating Terry's life will be held on December 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Path Church with Pastors Dan and Renee Garber officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
