Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Feb. 16, 2026.
Christ-loving, Giving, thoughtful, loving, and loyal are just a few to describe the image of the Dad, Papaw, Uncle, Brother, Bro. Terry, and the friend he was.
Terry Dean Bradshaw, entered into his Eternal rest on Sunday, February 15th, 2026. Without a doubt we know he went running to his Savior Jesus Christ and was so joyous to be reunited with the love of his life Brenda Kaye.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Eastview Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at Eastview Baptist Church Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 4:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM.
Terry was born November 8, 1955 in
Memphis, TN to William and Genera Bradshaw.
Terry met, Brenda, the love of his life in 1975 and were united in marriage on July 7th, 1977. They celebrated almost 47 years of marriage before the Lord called Brenda home.
Terry was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and faithfully lived to share about the salvation of Jesus Christ and His faithfulness. He surrendered his life to the ministry after working several years as a paramedic/fireman. His goal in life was to serve those in their greatest times of need. He served as lead pastor at several churches across of the State of Tennessee and then become a full time Carroll County Fire Chief in the early 2000s. Up until his death he was still serving as pastor to Prospect Baptist Church in
Hollow Rock, TN.
Terry was a devoted Christ follower, husband, father, and Papaw. It brought him immense joy and delight in spending time with his daughters and grandkids. His role as Papaw was one of his most honored titles. His grandkids will always remember his humor, kindness, love for Ole Miss Football, and joy in watching each of them develop a personal relationship with Christ.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kaye Hurley Bradshaw. His parents William and Genera Bradshaw. His sister Janice Nelson, and other precious family. Terry is survived by his daughters Shelly(Mark) Miller, Wendy (Hunter) Jones; Grandchildren, Liam Jones, London Jones, Lynen Jones, Lila Jones, Austin (Katie) Miller, and great grandchildren Easton and Paxton Miller. In addition to his brother, sister, and nieces/nephews.
While the sadness is real, the rejoicing is even greater. Greater because Terry KNEW where he was going and WE know that we will see him again.
....death is only temporary for those in Christ. We look forward to the day we will be reunited in Heaven.
"To mourn a loss is to recognize a good gift you had." Terry was exactly that...a true blessing and gift from God. Oh how we loved him, but Oh how sweet to know he has seen Christ Jesus face to face.
John 11:25-26 – "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.'"

even unto death."
