It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Dean Broussard, born on March 31, 1943, in Jennings, LA. She passed away on August 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Jennings, LA.
Terry will be remembered by her beloved husband of 65 years Tom Broussard, and her devoted daughters Kathy (Darryl) Bertrand, Kim Precht, and Julie (Percy) Lougon. She is also survived by her brother Ron (Jean) Istre. Terry leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will be greatly missed.
She will also be remembered by her grandchildren Keri, Scott, Robin, Daniel, Michael, Erin, Matthew, Jessica, Carrie, Kelsey, and Emily, as well as twenty great-grandchildren, with another on the way. Terry's memory will live on through her loving family.
She had a love for dancing with her husband Tom on Saturday nights. She also enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family. She retired from Wal Mart as a Customer Service Manager. After retirement she went on to help her husband in his business.
Terry's life will be celebrated on August 10, 2024, with a Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation at Miguez Funeral Home on August 9, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary starting at 6:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Terry's final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery, Jennings, LA, where she will be laid to rest on August 10, 2024, at 2:30 pm under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Please join us in honoring Terry's life and legacy. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to watch over us all.
Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Terry Istre and Nola Baker Istre daughter, Lisa Avila and her son in law Tom Precht.
