TERRY D. BROWN, 62, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, in Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Terry was a son of the late John C. and Mary Seigler Brown. He was a member of the Aiken High School Class of 1981. Terry formerly worked for Graniteville Company. Terry’s passions were Classic Rock, following NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed working on and restoring classic cars. He especially loved spending time with his nephew, Jay, who sadly passed away earlier this year on February 1st.
Survivors include two sisters, Jennifer Brown, Aiken and Julie Cude (Clint), West Columbia. Also surviving is his lifelong friend Brad Willis and longtime friend Gary Ingram.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his nephew, Jay Boulware; his paternal grandparents, Austin and Minnie Brown and his maternal grandpareents, James and Lizzie Seigler.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday evening, April 22nd at 6 o’clock at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Brad Willis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
