Terry Jane Cady

Terry Jane Woody Cady, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, with her two children by her side. Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, tribute donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/donate Terry was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Springtown. She attended Arlington Heights High School and Texas Tech University. Terry moved with her family to Metairie, La., in 1972 where she worked for the Jefferson Parish School System for 27 years, with most of those years at Meisler Middle School. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Walter N. Woody and Rowena Strickland Woody; and sister, Tommy Ann Woody Garrett. Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Burton Blaine Cady; daughter, Anne Cady Fatzer and husband, Larry; son, Blaine Alan Cady and wife, Stefanie; grandchildren, Michael Fatzer, Lauren Fatzer, Sarah Cady, Ashlen Cady and Andrew Cady; brother, Dan Woody and wife, Lynn Massey Woody; niece, Dana Ellerbee DeLozier; nephews, Clay Ellerbee, Troy Woody and Trent Woody; and numerous loving family and friends.
