Terry Cox Obituary

Terry Edinburgh Dale Cox Terry Dale Cox, 58 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 in Indianapolis.

He was born on August 9, 1966 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Burnis G. and Kathryn (Moorefield) Cox. Terry is survived by brother, Bernie (Linda) Cox of Columbus and sister, Judy (James) King of Whiteland; nephews, Bill Cox of Mooresville, Robbie (Vikki) King of Columbus, Casey Cox of Indianapolis and Mike (Natalie) Cox of Greenwood; nieces, Lisa Johnson of Flat Rock; Rhonda Burris of Pierre, South Dakota; Traci Cox of Franklin; Ronda (Chuck) Scott of Greenwood and Amber (David) Fikes of Franklin. Also surviving are many great and great-great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in passing by his parents; brothers, Bill Cox, Steve Cox and Marty Cox.

Terry attended Mooresville schools and later was a graduate of Jennings County Schools.

He worked in various jobs throughout his life, most recently was employed as an automobile detailer.

He loved classic cars and having fun. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

A celebration of Terry's life will be on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with Visitation on Thursday, July 31st from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
