Terry Doughman

Terry Doughman, 66, of Logan, Ohio, passed away at his home on February 28, 2026. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed.

Terry was born in Circleville, Ohio on August 25, 1959, to William and Elizabeth Louise Doughman. He grew up in Logan, with his siblings and parents. He worked in construction, drove trucks and worked in the oil fields. Terry liked to go target shooting with his good friends.

Terry had a great smile and laugh to go along with his big personality. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you loved him. He liked to crack jokes, though sometimes inappropriate. He worked hard and loved his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Vallie Doughman of Cleveland, Ohio; siblings, Bill Doughman (Pat) of Ohio, Diane Truax (Clark) of Logan, Debbie Stewart (Frank) of Logan, and Carol Sims (Bill) of Sugar Grove, Ohio; a few of his closest friends, Doug (Susan) Hedges of Logan, Larry Hartman, of Logan, Mike Robers of Logan, and Rod Hedges; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Elizabeth Doughman, and close friend, Marguerite Hartman.

A celebration of Terry's life was held at 12:30 PM on Friday March 6, 2026, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. Burial followed at Shaw Cemetery.

Visitation time was from 11:00 AM till the time of the service on Friday March 6, 2026, at the funeral home.

There was a small gathering, for family and close friends, following the funeral services at the Old Dutch Restaurant in Logan, Ohio.
